Getting Started

Create your first list by tapping the + button on the Home screen. Choose a category (Movies, Music, Books, Places, Checklists, etc.), give it a title, and start adding items.

Each category has unique item fields and detail views — movies show posters, places show maps, and checklists support reminders.

List & Item Actions

• Swipe left on a list to Rename or Delete.
• Swipe right on a list to Set Default for that category.
• Swipe left on an item to Rename, Move, or Delete.
• Swipe right on an item to Set Reminder (checklists only) or Mark Complete.

Adding & Rating Items

Add new items using the + button inside a list. Tap an item to open its detail view, where you can:

• Rate it with the 1–10 slider.
• Add optional notes or tags.
• Attach images or map locations (for Places).

Sharing from Other Apps

Listworthy supports the iOS Share Sheet. From apps like Safari, YouTube, TikTok, or Maps, choose Share → Listworthy to instantly create a new item or list with the shared link, title, and image automatically filled in.

Customizing Lists

• Change icons: Tap the list’s icon to pick a new emoji or category image.
• Rename: Swipe left on a list or open the list and tap its title.
• Reorder items: Drag items up or down to change rank order.
• Move items: Swipe left on an item → Move → choose a destination list.

Sharing, Exporting & Importing

• Share as Image: Open a list → tap Share → Share as Image to post your ranked list as a graphic.
• Export as File: Tap Share → Export to save a .listworthy file that includes all list data.
• Import: Tap a shared .listworthy file in any app, then choose “Open in Listworthy” to add it to your lists.

Reminders

Reminders are available only in Checklists. Swipe right on an item and tap the bell icon to pick a date and time. Notifications appear locally — no sign-in required.

Search & Categories

Use the magnifying glass icon to search your lists:

• All Lists: Search titles and notes across everything.
• Category Tabs: Each category shows lists related to that topic only (Movies, Music, Books, etc.).
• Places: Searches include names and map results.

Item Detail Views

• Movies & TV: Show poster, release year, and rating slider.
• Music: Displays album art and lets you rank tracks or albums.
• Books: Includes author, cover, and notes.
• Places: Shows Apple Maps preview and directions link.
• Checklists: Support reminders, completion toggles, and reorderable tasks.

Tips

• Tap and hold items for quick reorder mode.
• Use the Set Default List option to make sharing faster — new shares go straight into your chosen list.
• Gold supporters can disable ads and unlock iCloud sync + export options.
